Laboratory Equipment Maintenance Monitoring

I-TECH CIV works closely with DIEMP in the implementation of the following activities:

  • Contracting with service providers for laboratory equipment maintenance
  • Monitoring preventive maintenance schedules for equipment with DIEMP and suppliers
  • Tracking the maintenance of malfunctioning equipment
  • Organizing supervision missions for equipment maintenance in laboratories
  • Replacing outdated or malfunctioning equipment.

Diagnostic Network Optimization (DNO)

One of the objectives of I-TECH CIV under the LABQUASI II project is to make the Ivorian laboratory network fully operational. To achieve this, diagnostic network optimization activities are being implemented:

  • Conducting a Diagnostic Network Optimization (DNO) analysis in collaboration with the Ministry of Health
  • Guiding the Ministry of Health in selecting the optimization scenario to implement
  • Assisting the Ministry of Health in establishing an integrated sample transportation system
  • Developing guidelines for laboratory network optimization
  • Creating M&E indicators based on policies, human resources, infrastructure, and data management.
I-TECH CIV is a non-governmental organization (NGO) under Ivorian law, established in February 2021. It is affiliated with the American NGO I-TECH. It is governed by Law No. 60.315 of September 20, 1960, concerning associations. It is registered with the Ministry of the Interior under the number 0161/INT/DGAT/DAG/SDVA dated January 15, 2021.
