This project aims to improve the sample transportation system in Côte d’Ivoire through the development and deployment of electronic tools for Integrated Sample Transportation. It has enabled the implementation of two applications for the regular monitoring of sample transportation for HIV, HPV, and TB. The impact of this system is to enhance the availability of results for better patient follow-up.
- A mobile application, “LSTracker”, is available on tablets acquired during the project and provided to couriers and laboratory technicians in two regions (Poro and Haut-Sassandra) and nine districts (Korhogo 1 & 2, Dikodougou, Sinématiali, M’Bengué, Daloa, Vavoua, Issia, and Zoukougbeu) for sample collection. The application includes a courier module for sample collection and a laboratory module for technical validation, biological validation, and result availability. The results are notified on tablets distributed to identified healthcare facilities, including: (CHR de Korhogo, CAT de Korhogo, CMS Torgokaha, HG Sinematiali, HG Dikodougou, HG M’Bengué, CHR de Daloa, AIBEF Daloa, CAT de DALOA, HG Issia, HG Vavoua, HG Zoukougbeu).

- A web application, “Lab Sample Tracker”, has been developed to monitor transported samples in real-time by stakeholders at the central level (DAP, UNICEF, I-TECH CIV, Regional Directorates of Poro and Haut-Sassandra, and the Health Districts of Korhogo 1 & 2, Dikodougou, Sinématiali, M’Bengué, Daloa, Vavoua, Issia, and Zoukougbeu).
