Who are we?

I-TECH CIV is an Ivorian non-governmental organization, stemming from the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) at the University of Washington in the United States. Present in Côte d’Ivoire since 2009, I-TECH officially established I-TECH CIV in 2021 to strengthen its local commitment to public health. As a center within the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington, I-TECH benefits from the combined expertise of the Schools of Medicine and Public Health.

In partnership with UW I-TECH, I-TECH CIV designs and implements innovative, user-centered digital health solutions aimed at improving access to information and supporting decision-making for healthcare professionals, patients, and communities in Côte d’Ivoire. Our team specializes in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Health Information Systems (HIS), and Health Information Exchange (HIE) based on open-source standards. We focus on four key areas: software design and implementation, HIS and LIS architecture and interoperability, leadership and governance of these systems, and capacity building in digital health.

With this expertise, I-TECH CIV supports initiatives aimed at making healthcare more accessible and efficient for Ivorian populations.

Vision

I-TECH CIV envisions a world in which all people have access to high-quality, equitable, customer-centered healthcare.
